Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Jayjay Don decided to move to Miami after years of commuting. He had spent ten years modeling and traveling all over the world. His modeling career brought him to Miami on many occasions. Having dual citizenship in the United States and Brazil, Jayjay passed through Miami in his travels to and from his home in Chicago and his home in Brazil. ‘Those layovers in Miami afforded me the opportunity to fall in love with sunny South Florida. I knew I wanted to live here permanently.’ This ‘former professional model’ has now called Miami home for the past fifteen years. Jayjay graduated in December of 2010 with a degree in International Studies from Barry University, which is located in Miami Shores, Florida. While Jayjay was finishing his degree and obtaining his Real Estate license, he created a successful notary service www.emergencynotary.biz. It was here that he facilitated services for real estate closings, loan documents, performing marriages, and many other services. Jayjay has lived in South Beach; however, he now calls
Downtown Brickell his home. Jayjay is heavily into fitness and is an avid runner. He has also been a volunteer at Camillus House for the last three years and was a former guardian ad litem working with neglected, and often abused children in Miami-Dade. He also considers himself ‘global’ in that since he was eighteen, he has spent his Christmases in Hawaii and his summers in Europe. Jayjay, a former native of Chicago, is a dual citizen of The United States and Brazil and has been enjoying his life as a South Floridian for over 20 years.
